FAQ - Can Not Connect to MSN
The MSN news server uses a proprietary password encryption scheme that News
Rover does not support. Because of this, MSN is the only news server that we
know of that News Rover does not work with.
However, we have many News Rover customers who use MSN as their ISP. What
they do is subscribe to a national news server such as
Giganews.
You still
connect to the Internet through MSN, but News Rover then establishes a
connection to the news server.
